Open day to introduce new AV technology
Wedgwood held its first open day in June 2010, where brand
manufacturers were on hand to demonstrate the latest AV technology.
Products demonstrated where 3D screens, 3D projectors, LED
projectors, interactive projectors (where you don't need an
interactive whiteboard), touchscreens, LCD stretch screens, digital
signage, LED lighting and the latest sound equipment, plus
accessories.

LED LCD TVs
Traditionally, LCD computers and LCD TV's have a cold cathode ray
tube (fluorescent lamp) as a backlight. Manufacturers, such as LG,
Samsung and JVC, are now including 'LED TV's' in their range. These
are LCD TV's with LED backlights. LED's (light emitting diodes),
give off little heat, are long lasting and energy saving, with the
benefit of lower power consumption.

Ultra thin wall mounts for LED lit LCD TVs
As
the new LED LCD TVs are thinner screens, Unicol has developed an
ultra thin wall mount, especially for these screens.

Stretched LCD monitors
LG and NEC have launched a long stretched LCD display, primarily
intended for use as a digital signage advertising board or a
presentation platform in public areas with limited space but can
also be used in several other applications such as call center
environment, public transport or other creative ideas.

Image (gobo) projectors
Image projectors let you display your logo or message onto a
wall, floor or ceiling, with accessories that allow special effects,
such as displaying a large on a staircase. GoboTop is a device
that transforms any 12v halogen MR16 lamp into a mini projector, so
you can display your message on a wall. GoboTopPlus has a

Wireless boundary microphones enable you to have microphones
on the table, without trailing wires, which looks more professional
for video conferencing sessions.
